MANUFACTURERS Eisai has announced multiple new hires and promotions. Michaelle Burke has been hired as district manager, Baltimore district, specialty sales force. Roberta Golden, formerly of Reliant Pharmaceuticals, has been hired as senior district manager, Nashville district, primary care sales force. Robert Feeney has been promoted from associate director, corporate planning, to director, investor and government relations. John Ieni has assumed a new role as executive director, head of scientific evaluation. Formerly, he was head of the medical affairs department. Michael Levine has been promoted from associate medical director to medical director, medical services.   Linda McBride has been promoted from associate product safety manager to manager, clinical product safety. Thomas Walton has been promoted from senior manager, quality assurance to director, quality assurance.AGENCIESAbelsonTaylor has promoted Janet Kleve to creative director.  She reports to Rob Kienle, vice president, creative director.  Kleve, formerly associate creative director, copy, is a seasoned veteran of the advertising industry, with 18 years of medical advertising experience and five years of consumer experience. During her seven-year tenure with AbelsonTaylor, she helped lead concept and copy development on 17 accounts, covering a broad range of products and therapeutic categories for companies including Eli Lilly, Connetics, and Ivax Laboratories. Before joining AbelsonTaylor, Kleve was an associate creative director at Corbett HealthConnect in Chicago. She also worked for McCann Healthcare as an associate creative director and at Topin & Associates as a copy supervisor. She began her advertising career in 1983 as a copywriter at J. Walter Thompson.Pacific Communications has promoted Ruby Rowe to group account supervisor, glaucoma and Kun Yang Kim to group program manager, dry eye. Rowe will oversee the account management for both the Lumigan and Combigan accounts. Prior to her promotion, Rowe was the account supervisor for Lumigan. She has been with the agency for more than three years.  Kim has been with the agency for more than a year; her previous role was as program manager for dry eye.Blue Diesel announced two new hires. Jason Sankey was named interactive designer. His responsibilities include user interface design, animation, and 3D modeling. Prior to Blue Diesel, Sankey served as Web designer at The Creative Group. Brian Adams was hired as interactive art director. Prior to Blue Diesel, Adams was director of interactive media at Panoptic Media.
