ACCME called for comment on proposed policies aimed at limiting interactions between accredited providers and commercial interests, as well as its proposal “that due consideration be given to the elimination of commercial support of CME activities.” The accrediting body cautioned that “nothing would be worse than the deconstruction of a system without the identification of alternatives.”
