Advanstar Medical Economics has reached a content syndication deal with 100 of the Internet's estimated 15,000 healthcare-related Web sites including Yahoo!, Cancer News, AllNurses.com and DrGreene.com.
Under the banner of Mediwire, Advanstar will provide content, news and information from its list of 25 publications including the titles Medical Economics, Patient Care, Drug Topics, and RN.
The information will be rebranded to match the look and feel of each partners site, said Rafael Cosentino, general manager of online business development at Advanstar. Cosentino expects Mediwire to have 1 million users from its 100 member sites when the service goes live next week.
