Merz named Roska Healthcare Advertising agency of record on its neurology business, focused on botulinum toxin therapy for cervical dystonia and blepharo­spasm in adults (market­ed as Xeomin). Roska's efforts will target neurologists, opthalmologists and other specialty physicians.

Novartis tapped Concentric Pharma Advertising to create training materials for Menveo, the company's meningococcal disease vaccine. Concentric's online strategies and properties will include iPad apps and a new version of the shop's RepRace virtual sales force platform.

Cooney/Waters Group acquired The Corkery Group, a New York PR firm specializing in health and medical communications.

Austin-based Edgemont Pharmaceuticals hired HCB Health as launch agency for a generic Prozac (fluoxetine tablets 60 mg) which will be the only form of the drug available in a single 60 mg pill in the US.

Palio's Pharm­Apps, an “app wiki” aimed at aggregating pharma and healthcare apps, will let users comment, write reviews, rate apps, share and upload new apps, which are categorized to allow easier sifting.
