The Eden Communications Group has hired Colleen Filak as vice president, client services and Jayne Chaplick as director of client services. Filak will oversee several Pfizer accounts, while Chaplick will focus on new business development and manage the agency's Berlex account. Filak previously was director of health industry business Development for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Chaplick joins from HealthEd, a patient education agency where she was an account manager.

DeVries Public Relations has named Ovidio Torres as managing director of healthcare. Prior to DeVries, Torres was executive vice president and managing partner at the Chamberlain Communications Group. He also held the title of senior managing director and deputy director of the U.S. health and pharmaceutical practice at Hill and Knowlton.

Communications Strategies Inc. (CSI), a marketing communications and public relations firm has named Eileen Murray a senior counselor. Murray was formerly a principal at Davies & Murray, Inc.

Abelson-Taylor has promoted Scott Hansen to vice president, creative director. He was the creative director at the agency.

Goble & Associates has hired David Raube as vice president, creative director. He joins from VOXMedica, where he was creative director. Raube will be relocating to the Chicago area from his current home in Pennsylvania.

Ziment, a market research consultancy, made two promotions in its client service group. Jade Cusick was promoted to senior vice president, client service group director and Andrea Alfonsi was promoted to vice president, senior director of client service.

MedPoint Communications has promoted Wayne Dunlap to vice president of strategic planning, a marketing and educational services provider.
