Four employees at Havas and two employees at Publicis were among the victims in the brutal terrorist attacks that shook Paris this past Friday, the companies said.

Fabrice Dubois, 46, creative director at Publicis Conseil, and Yannick Minvielle, 39, co-creative director of RED/Publicis, were both killed in the attack on the Bataclan theatre.

Three other Publicis employees were also injured in the attacks. Stefan Cova, developer at Publicis Nurun; and Marjanka Magen and Guillaume Gouin, editors at press agency Relaxnews, which was acquired by Publicis in June, were injured in the attacks that night.

Publicis Groupe wrote Monday in a statement on its Facebook page: “Paris was witness to a night of terror attacks that have brought darkness upon many families. Our professional family was not saved from this blind violence. We join the families in their grief and share their sadness.”

Havas CEO Yannick Bolloré shared the first names and faces of four Havas employees who lost their lives in the attacks. A spokesperson for Havas was unable to confirm their full names and titles by press time.

Many agencies have chosen to show their grief by blacking out their social media pages, according to coverage from Adweek. BETC Paris told the magazine that “the black boxes are a symbol for our grief.”
