Analysis: docs' self-assessment of competence is not accurate

An analysis in JAMA co-written by Dave Davis, MD, suggests physicians' self-assessment of competence is not very accurate. Thirteen of the studies demonstrated little, no or an inverse relationship between self-rated assessments; seven demonstrated positive associations.
