Bon Jovi speaks up for Advil

JON BON JOVI IS THE LATEST celebrity pitchman for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare's Advil. The ‘80s rocker cut a 30-second spot for Pfizer's OTC painkiller, quipping “pain does not have much of a place in my life. I checked the schedule and it's not on it.” He became an Advil loyalist after an onstage injury. Other digital content from the taping is on, which also has testimonials from Regis and Joy Philbin, among others, and a plug for Bon Jovi's eponymous charity. The campaign takes direct aim at J&J's rival Tylenol. —MA
