Cadient Group, the Philadelphia digital shop, has given to Philly charity Cradles for Crayons for the past few years with an annual “backpack-a-thon” in which teams compete to collect as many school supplies as possible—pencils, pens, folders, glue sticks, rulers, erasers, calculators, colored pencils, crayons, books and organizers. The agency came up with 230 pounds of supplies, helping the charity to meet its goal of providing 15,000 stuffed backpacks to low-income and homeless children in need through its Ready for School program.
