Haymarket Media Group launched an American version of the publisher’s Campaign UK media brand this week. Campaignlive.com is designed to appeal to professionals working in advertising, media and marketing by blending dialogue with news and analysis.

Campaignlive.com will feature content “produced by creative talent for creative talent,” according to a press release. The portal will draw on contributed pieces from US marketing and communications leaders, and curate stories generated by Campaign’s own journalists.

Sister sites Campaignlive.co.uk and CampaignAsia.com, as well as The Hub, an AdTech blog, will contribute to the online forum. As part of Haymarket, the new platform is also a sister site of MM&M’s mmm-online.com.

The Campaign brand, already well entrenched abroad, will need to build its digital community on these shores. Thought leaders featured on the site, as of Thursday morning, included WPP’s chief executive, Sir Martin Sorrell, as well as Tham Khai Meng, worldwide CCO, Ogilvy & Mather, and John Osborn, CEO, BBDO New York.
