Prior to Eisai, Moyer served as corporate communications and media relations manager for two Penske divisions at General Electric Company. She also has held various PR-related positions at Lutheran Services Northeast, L-A advertising and public relations, and Creamer Dickson Basford public relations. Michael Sciannamea has joined Eisai as manager, corporate planning and communications. Prior to Eisai, he worked as information specialist, speakers bureau at DesignWrite, a medical communications company based in Princeton, New Jersey. He also has held various editorial and web-related positions at Penton Media, WPI Communications, Prudent Publishing, Matthew Bender & Company and The Bergen Record. AGENCIES Rapp Collins Healthcare has hired Liz Cueto as senior account executive on the Novartis team. Cueto was previously at G2. Prior to joining G2, she received her masters in advertising from the University of Florida. AbelsonTaylor has hired Carrie Potter as senior copywriter. Potter will be the lead copywriter on the agency’s account for an HIV treatment. She joins from New York-based Lyons Lavey Nickel Swift, where she was senior copywriter in charge of an oncology product for the treatment of breast cancer. Before that, she worked at Grey Healthcare, also of New York, where, as copywriter, she worked on a cholesterol product. She began her career as senior editor of The American Journal of Nursing. SUPPLIERS Ipsos Health has announced two key appointments aimed at further strengthening the company’s client service capabilities in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals arena. Elys Roberts has joined the company as president and CEO of Ipsos Health in North America and Andrew Grenville takes on the role of chief research officer. Roberts comes to Ipsos with 13 years experience in the healthcare sector, in both client and research sides of the business. Immediately before joining Ipsos, he served as group president for Medefield America, a business division he started 3 years ago, rapidly shaping it into the largest provider of European online physician fieldwork in the industry. Prior to that, he was head of global business development training at NOP Health and head of one the company’s strategic business units. Working client side, Roberts spent seven years in Eli Lilly’s UK sales and marketing organization as part of Lilly's general management leadership program, working in a number of roles including market research manager and district sales manager. Andrew Grenville steps into his new role as chief research officer at Ipsos Health following a number of years leading the health team. SK&A Information Services , announced the hiring of four experienced sales representatives. Matthew Silverberg , based in Seattle, Washington, has been hired as vertical markets account executive, overseeing the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device markets nationally. Stacia Dillon , with a strong background in healthcare data and information services, was most recently a top salesperson for Billian’s health data group division. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Dillion will sell SK&A healthcare information solutions into multiple vertical markets nationally. Larry Adams has over 24 years experience in the insurance and financial services markets, and will help develop new business accounts from SK&A’s headquarters located in Irvine, CA. Barry Ward , who will also provide new business development from the Irvine location, has over ten years of promotions, marketing and sales experience, most recently in financial services.
