MANUFACTURERS Eisai has announced the following new hires and promotions.  Joining the company are: Sean Fenton as associate medical director; Noel Kemprowski and Michelle Lo Monte as associate senior counsels; Michelle LaBonte as associate director, customer development; Lloyd Hilton as district manager, Cleveland district, specialty sales force; Kenny Rankin as regional sales director, central region, specialty sales force and Colette Curran as manager, market research. Eisai has also announced five promotions. Judee Shuler has moved from associate director to director of corporate planning and communications. Paul Korathu has been promoted from manager, business development to senior manager, business development. Eran Nadav has been promoted from associate director, scientific evaluation to director, business development. Kelly Stiltner has moved from medical sales specialist to district manager, Cincinnati District, and Russell Upchurch has been promoted from manager, quality control to senior manager, quality control. AGENCIES Palio Communications has announced the following promotions. Ingrid Dahlin to account director. Frank Edwards to senior art director. Stephanie Hosmer to art director. Nora Kiernan to manager of editorial services. James Mittler to senior medical writer. Judy Supley to account director. AbelsonTaylor has promoted Jim Hampton to art production supervisor and Jenny Sharp to senior account executive, and has hired Julie Anne Lewis as copywriter, Kathleen Burzycki as clinical research associate, and Shana Liberman as account supervisor. HC&B Healthcare Communications announced four new hires and one promotion. Amy Sullivan, has been hired as associate creative director. Senior writer Mark Gillmore has taken a full-time position after doing freelance work for the company.  Bobby Bitner joins as media director. Michele Evans has been hired as art director, Celeste Robichaux has been promoted to account executive. The Patient Marketing Group has expanded its creative department with two new hires. Adam Bailine, creative director, copy, has previously worked as creative director at Medical Broadcasting Company and Roska Direct. Senior art director Ken Fish was formerly creative director at Interact Multimedia Inc. and AT&T. SUPPLIERS Sirona Dental Systems, a producer of dental CAD/CAM systems, has hired Lawrence Schmidt, as Northwest territory manager.  Schmidt’s sales territory will include Northern California, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon and Washington. Most recently, Schmidt was Western division manager at Heraeus Kulzer.  Bell, Falla and Associates, a marketing research consultancy specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech markets, has announced the appointment of Karen LeSieur as EVP and Adrienne Vitti as project manager.  Formerly SVP, LeSieur specializes in global product marketing and marketing research issues. Vitti joins from Sony BMG, where she specialized in market sales analytics.
