CDER hires engagement professional

The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research has hired a director of professional affairs and engagement. BioCentury reports that John Whyte, formerly VP of medical education at Discovery Channel, has taken the job.

Regulatory Focus says Whyte will focus “on interacting with parties with an interest in the FDA, including healthcare professionals, patients, patient groups and anyone else with an interest in the issue of medicine.”
