Clinical trial awareness campaign launches

Lobbying group PhRMA and the National Minority Quality Forum have launched a campaign to increase clinical trial patient diversity.

The two groups said in a statement that the goal of the “I'm In” campaign is to raise awareness about why clinical research is important and to “encourage greater participation by diverse patient populations.”

The plan is to partner up with patient advocacy and provider groups, and to help support the creation of the National Minority Quality Forum's Clinical Trial Engagement Network.
