GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health company has named Tammy Fischer president of the agency’s New York office. Fischer will be responsible for building and overseeing existing client relationships and identifying and driving new business development in GSW Worldwide’s office in New York. Fischer brings more than 18 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising, sales, medical education and organizational management. Prior to joining GSW Worldwide, Fischer served as EVP, managing director at Draftfcb Healthcare where she was responsible for driving new business growth that led to several professional and DTC account wins including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cybertronics, Abbott, Centocor and Merck. She worked on a breadth of health categories including HIV, transplant, diabetes, psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, infertility and human growth hormone.
MicroMass Communications appointed Jacqueline Miller to VP, group account director. She will manage relationship marketing initiatives for a portfolio of cardiovascular products, operating out of MicroMass’s office in Morristown, NJ. She reports to John Grunstein, SVP, account group director. Miller brings more than 16 years of diverse business experience to her new position, representing significant client-side knowledge as well as agency experience. Before joining MicroMass, she worked eight years with Citibank in New York, where as VP she most recently directed all marketing communications related to the development, branding and promotion of credit card products targeting high net worth customers. This included managing relationships with card members as well as with an extensive network of external partners. Prior to joining Citibank, Miller worked at Ogilvy One Worldwide in New York, where she supervised several large telecom and financial services accounts. She also worked in the Manhattan offices of other national ad agencies, including FCB Direct (now Draftfcb), Wunderman and Katz Communications (now Katz Media Group).
