Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson company specializing in cardiovascular care, has announced three senior-level appointments. Carl Bernard has been named vice president, US sales and marketing; Paul Chang, vice president, worldwide clinical research and operations; and Ryan Saadi, vice president, health economics and reimbursement.
Topin & Associates has announced the hiring of Lisa Layher, as account supervisor for the Baxter US medication delivery account. Layher will report to director of account service Lori Kewin.
Axial Biotech, a developer of molecular diagnostic technologies, has appointed William Lister to its board of directors. Lister, most recently SVP and general manager of patient care at Roche Diagnostics, will serve on the board’s compensation committee and will focus on guiding the company in the commercialization of new molecular assays.
G2 Worldwide has announced that John Paulson, formerly head of G2 Interactive, has been promoted to the newly created position of CEO, G2 US. Paulson will be responsible for G2’s 10 US offices. Concurrently, Wendy Lurrie has joined G2 as president of the agency’s relationship marketing unit, G2 Direct & Digital, and will report to Paulson. Lurrie was previously general manager of Draftfcb’s New York office.
