The MD Net Guide series of peer reviewed journals is adding MD Net Guide: Focus on Geriatric Medicine, as a supplement to its portfolio of publications. The new title will
debut in the first quarter of 2005.

The Society of Hospital Medicine has named John Wiley & Sons to
publish the Society's newsletter, TheHospitalist, previously published inhouse. The Society also hired Pharmaceutical Media Inc. to handle
advertising sales support for the title that goes to 12,000 hospital-based physicians.

Bristol-Myers Squibb and Ventiv Pharma Services have signed a multiyear
service agreement under which Ventiv will provide a sales force of more than 375 representatives focusing on Cefzil and Tequin. Meanwhile, BMS is reportedly in talks with several suitors to sell its Excedrin line of pain relievers and other OTC products
for as much as $1 billion.

Adolor has signed a two-year agreement to co-promote Glaxo-SmithKline's anti-thrombotic agent Arixtra in the U.S.

GSW Worldwide was named agency of record by The Valley Hospital,
a 451-bed acute-care hospital in Ridgewood, N.J. The account will be
based in GSW Worldwide's New York office. The Vigilante Advertising Agency,
a unit of Publicis, was named by NitroMed as the advertising agency for BiDil, a new drug that reduces deaths among African Americans from advanced heart failure. Vigilante will handle creative for print and broadcast.

Griff/SMC completed an integrated marketing communications campaign for the radiation oncology division of Philips Medical.

Palio Communications was selected by Cephalon as the professional agency of record for record for OraVescent fentanyl.
