Chantix top-searched Rx brand online

Pfizer's smoking cessation treatment Chantix was the top-searched prescription brand online in February, generating more than 500,000 search queries, according to internet measurement firm comScore.

Shire's Adderall for ADHD and Pfizer's erectile dysfunction treatment Viagra came in a close second and third on the list, respectively.

Five of the 15 most frequently searched prescription brands were for depression. Those treatments included Eli Lilly's Cymbalta and Prozac, Wyeth's Effexor, Forest's Lexapro and GlaxoSmithKline's Paxil. 

Meanwhile, the top searched health condition, “pregnancy,” garnered 8.8 million hits and was searched 17 times more often than Chantix
