The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is chatting up the benefits of the Affordable Care Act in a campaign that kicked off Monday. The Hill reports that the public relations effort includes a website “From Coverage to Care” that works as a support tool to help patients understand their health coverage.

The site includes printable guides in English and Spanish that cover topics including how to choose a healthcare provider, what to bring to an appointment and how to decide whether you want to stick with your HCP or choose another one, among others.

The bilingual angle is a start, but a recent Urban Institute study shows that to reach Spanish-speaking patients, outreach needs to go beyond the web, and include more person-to-person contact.
