Everyday Health is launching a YouTube channel as part of a big expansion into video. The channel, dubbed “Everyday Health TV: Content to Change Your Life,” will carry the company's original programs beginning in February 2012, for an official launch in April. Programming will feature talent including South Beach Diet author Arthur Agaston, MD, Joy Bauer, MS, RD and What to Expect creator Heidi Murkoff. EverydayHealth launched a TV series on ABC affiliates in September. “Today you do not need to be an offline broadcaster to distribute premium video content at scale and we intend for Everyday Health to be a major player in video and TV going forward,” said Everyday Health cofounder and CEO Ben Wolin.

Cooney/Waters Group and Vox Collective launched Cultúr Health, a Hispanic healthcare communications service, reports PRWeek. “Many Hispanics are largely unaware about their increased risk for chronic diseases, and how these diseases can be prevented or treated,” said Cooney/Waters EVP Fred Lake. “Yet research shows that 80% of Latinos are hungry for information about medical innovation and healthcare.”
