Pfizer will hire 450 workers at a Terre Haute, IN, plant producing its inhaled insulin Exubera, The Indianapolis Star reported. The $160 million plant began producing the inhaled insulin soon after the FDA approved marketing in late January. About 200 employees currently work at the plant. It wasn’t immediately clear if any of those employees are included in the 450 new-hire number.
