Pfizer has entered into an agreement to acquire Rinat Neuroscience, a privately held biotechnology company that is developing therapeutic proteins for the treatment of diseases and disorders of the central nervous system. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Rinat’s lead product has just started Phase II trials as a treatment for osteoarthritis pain.
