Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, will begin voluntarily disclosing data on its independent medical education grants and charitable contributions for the US on August 16, a spokesperson told MM&M. Information — including the recipient organization's name, the program title and the funding amount — covering Q1 2010 will be followed by online reports issued quarterly. The news was first reported by the blog Policy and Medicine.
