Ascend Media sold a group of healthcare publications – its Allied Healthcare division – to Anthem Media Group, for an undisclosed sum. The sale included 11 publication titles including Clinical Lab Products, Hearing Review, Hearing Review Products, Imaging Economics, Orthodontic Products. Anthem Media Group's Dennis Triola will be president of the new division housing the acquisition, called Allied Media. Larry Lannon, former Ascend division president, will report to Triola.

Sanofi Pasteur and the March of Dimes launched the “Sounds of Pertussis,” a campaign educating adults about pertussis, or whooping cough, prevention. The campaign will feature a Times Square exhibit in New York city with large screen TVs playing Jennifer Lopez PSAs. Sanofi markets vaccines Adacel and Pentacel for pertussis.
