Sepracor moved creative duties for Lunesta from The Kaplan Thaler Group, a New York-based Publicis shop, to Lowe, an IPG shop, Adweek reported. Prior to The Kaplan Thaler Group, the creative account was handled by IPG's McCann HumanCare.

Bioniche Pharma, a manufacturer of specialty injectables, received a warning letter from DDMAC regarding web pages for Sotradecol (sodium tetradecyl sulfate injection) located on the Bioniche and AngioDynamics websites. The pages “fail to communicate any information about the risks associated with the product,” the letter stated. Bioniche was cited for the same violations in April of 2006. Sotradecol is indicated in the treatment of small, uncomplicated varicose veins.
