Everyday Health is bringing a boldfaced name onboard in Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who will provide content for both EverydayHealth.com and MedPageToday.com. EverydayHealth plans to launch DoctorSanjayGupta.com and affiliated apps later in the year. Gupta will still appear on CNN and CBS News while producing articles, video segments and two daily newsfeeds for Everyday Health.

Google's a la carte AdWords approach is ending, as AdWords goes device-agnostic, with one all-inclusive channel clients can buy. Called an “enhanced campaign,” the new approach is being rolled out in stages, and will affect all clients by the end of 2013.

WebMD launched WebMD Allergy, an iPhone app with pollen-count forecasts and push notification allergen alerts for seven allergy categories that can be tailored to multiple user profiles.

HHS is launching TXT4TOTS, a follow-up to Text4Baby with health-related information for children between 1 and 5 and tips about nutrition, exercise and other topics. Based on guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and available in Spanish and English, TXT4TOTS will join Text4Baby, SmokeFreeTXT and QuitNowTXT, among others.
