Through a partnership with HealthMedia, a custom health communications company, StayWell Custom Communications announced the launch of StayWell Engage, an online health management platform designed to engage consumers with an array of health assessment tools, digital health coaching programs and other customized content. The platform is intended for use by consumers as well as health plans and employers.

Compete, a TNS Media company, released findings from an analysis of top health insurance and physician ratings sites:, a doctor-ratings site, topped the list at over 2.7 million unique visitors for the month of June, followed by, a UnitedHealth site, at 1.5 million., and were also top destinations in the category, according to the Compete data.

The AMA used YouTube to reassert its support for America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, in a video starring AMA president James Rohack, a cardiologist from Texas. Rohack acknowledges that the debate over H.R. 3200 is “far from over,” but says AMA will push for medical liability reform from a place at the table.
