UpTrend Media, a Canadian online advertising network, announced a partnership with Waterfront Media to exclusively represent Everyday Health's ad sales in Canada. The deal will allow UpTrend Media to leverage Everyday Health content across its online properties in Canada, reaching over 11 million Canadian unique viewers, and over 100,000 email subscribers, according to a statement.

At the Worldwide Developers conference (WWDC) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, AirStrip, a technology company focused on providing patient information directly from hospital monitoring systems to a physician's smartphone, demonstrated how the iPhone 3.0 has the capability to transmit EKG systems' real-time waveform data to a mobile phone. Apple's Mark Wilson reportedly told attendees that “the medical community is flocking to the iPhone.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) lashed out at President Obama via Twitter, in response to what the senator considered to be an unwarranted shot on Congress. “Pres Obama you got nerve while u sightseeing in Paris to tell us ‘time to deliver' on healthcare.
