Everyday Health filed for a $100 million initial public offering in January. The health portal, which runs 25 sites, took in $22.5 million in revenue for the three months to October – up from $16.4 million for the same period in 2008 – but reported a net loss of $2.2 million compared to a loss of $1.8 million a year ago, Reuters reported.

WebMD launched an update to its Medscape Mobile multimedia clinical reference, adding medical images and procedure videos aimed at enabling healthcare professionals to quickly visualize their topic of interest on the iPhone or iPod Touch. The app has attracted over 200,000 users since its launch, said WebMD, making it the top free medical app for Apple devices, and offers a clinical reference, drug interaction checker, CME, news and more.

Ascend Integrated Media signed an agreement with Mobilco, which offers sponsored text messages and mobile coupons.

ComScore acquired ARSgroup, an Evansville, IN research firm whose Persuasion methodology measures effectiveness of advertising creative. Reston, VA-based comScore said it hopes to leverage the firm’s offering to build innovative online and cross-media measurement tools.
