FDA sees 50% increase in Form 2253 submissions

There has been a 50% increase to 61,000 in FDA Form 2253s submitted with promotional pieces during the past four years to the FDA’s Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising and Communications (DDMAC). Of these, 43,000 pieces were professional ads, and almost 11,000 were DTC.
