MDLinx touts its MRA Verified panel

MDLinx, a division of M3 USA, had its physician panel verified by the Marketing Research Association (MRA), a process that involved a review of MDLinx's survey methodology, sample size and other procedural rules.

Craig Overpeck, chief technology officer at MDLinx, said the company's international panel of doctors—which includes 660,000 physicians across 24 specialties —was deemed “MRA Verified” after providing MRA with a self-assessment, and allowing the association to conduct an independent review. MDLinx provides medical news to doctors via emails, and, beginning three years ago, surveys doctors that receive the emails or sign up to participate in market research as panel member.

Physicians participate in a given survey for an MDLinx client by invitation, and use an invitation code to respond to survey questions.

Overpeck says the company's panel includes “one of every two oncologists in the US,” and approximately 130,000 US docs in total.
