Marissa Seligman, chief compliance officer and SVP for regulatory and clinical affairs at Pri-Med since 2002, is set to join Clinical Care Options as COO/GM this month. Lynn Long, Pri-Med president/COO cited Seligman's “steady voice for the value of CME” during a “period of great change” for the profession.

Global Academy for Medical Education, in a joint sponsorship with University of Louisville School of Medicine, launched its Click for Credit activity where primary care clinicians can get CMEs for reading peer-reviewed articles and answering questions. In May, Doximity launched a similar service in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic.

The Association of American Medical Colleges and the American Psychological Association announced a collaboration to expand a free, online collection of mental health educational resources for HCPs and med students.

KnowledgePoint360 split one of its largest agencies, ACUMED, in two, creating Seren Communications, which will provide communication and education services like content development, publication support, meetings and congresses. Melissa Piper will serve as president.
