Medical marketing group Informed Medical Communications merged with IC Axon, which specializes in content production for sales training, the firms said.

Pri-Med Point of Care launched a new website,, to provide clients with information on its network offerings. Site features include a blog and tool for clients to submit campaign requests.

Lighthouse Learning said it will be the sole CME content provider for clinical curriculum at the CollaborativeCARE Conference (C3). Hosted by Medical Exchange, C3 offers certified education programs to specialists, primary care practitioners and patients in one venue.

Deanna Heier, PhD, became the 300th recipient of the CCMEP designation earlier this year. The CCMEP credential is the NC-CME certification program designed to verify the knowledge and skills of CME staff. Heier is director of operations for Clinical Care Options.

Outsourced promotional services firm PDI launched EngageCE, a new division offering expert clinical educators to work with healthcare providers in managing chronic diseases. The new unit will be led by John Beriont, with Robin Freeburg reporting to him.
