NEJM revamps site, adds archives

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) launched a new website in July, including an archive of past issues dating back to 1812.

Improvements to the site include more sophisticated search, better graphic integration at the article level, and additional customization within MyNEJM, which lets readers tailor the journal to their specific needs, said publisher Tom Easley. New specialty pages allow doctors to customize alerts and other content relevant to their practice areas.
For advertisers, the site offers improved visitor authentication and more precise targeting, said Easley, along with new sponsorship opportunities.
