Porter Novelli hires president, CFO

Porter Novelli has hired Anthony Viceroy as president of global business operations and chief financial officer. Viceroy will report to Gary Stockman, the agency's CEO.

Viceroy was most recently SVP of financial management and client partnership at Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services (DAS) group, a network including healthcare PR giants Fleishman-Hillard and Ketchum, as well as Porter Novelli.

Prior to joining DAS in 2002, Viceroy was finance director and treasurer of Novo Nordisk North America. In his new role, Viceroy will support account leads on all of Porter Novelli's clients (which include Merck, Wyeth, AstraZeneca, Shire, Novo Nordisk, J&J, Amgen and others, according to the company website), from a financial and operational standpoint.

Outgoing Porter Novelli CFO Mike Gehb has taken a senior financial position at DAS, according to a spokesperson.
