Wiley to launch diabetes journal

Responding to an increase in diabetes and diabetes care worldwide, Wiley-Blackwell announced that it will launch the Journal of Diabetes Investigation in 2010.

The bi-monthly journal is slated to be the official journal of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD).

“The journal will have an international editorial team of experts from the AASD countries and beyond, and will embrace clinical and experimental research in diabetes…We seek to develop Journal of Diabetes Investigation to position it as the core diabetes journal of Asia,” said Nigishi Hotta, editor in chief of the journal, in a statement.
