HBA naming three women of the year for '14

As part of a unique celebration of the Silver Anniversary of the event, the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association said it will honor not one but three women from across healthcare with its prestigious HBA Woman of the Year award.

The three are Shideh Sedgh Bina, founding partner of Insigniam and editor in chief of Insigniam Quarterly; Annalisa Jenkins, MBBS, MRCP, executive vice president and head of global research and development for Merck Serono; and Patricia A. Maryland, DrPH, president of healthcare operations and chief operating officer of Ascension Health.

All three will be honored at the HBA's 25th Woman of the Year event on Thursday, May 1, at the Hilton New York.
