Hospitals lose millions of dollars each year to missed appointments. Patients forget that they’re supposed to come in, or they arrive late because they weren’t able to find their way through the hospital corridor maze.

  • 30% of first-time visitors and 15% of repeat visitors report location-related confusion.
  • Staff go idle when patients are late.
  • A 5% no-show rate at a single hospital can cost $100,000s per year.

Fortunately, there is a simple solution to this revenue drain: branded hospital applications with wayfinding and push notification capabilities. These applications even boost patient satisfaction and loyalty, reduce patient stress and anxiety, and create a stronger long-term revenue stream. In this webcast, Phunware’s VP Product Evangelist will explore how hospitals can implement a wayfinding and messaging solution, and how they can expect to benefit from it.
