InnoVision Health Media, publisher of three complimentary and alternative medicine journals, and consumer magazine Natural Solutions, was acquired by private-equity firms: American Securities and ACI Capital.

The acquisition brought InnoVision out of bankruptcy, and the publisher will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, and maintain its Boulder, CO offices. “We're very pleased to have found a partner that believes in our business model and will help provide the resources needed to move it forward,” said Rob Lutz, InnoVision president, in a statement. InnoVision will work closely with one of American Securities' and ACI's other holdings, Healthy Directions.
