Janssen Labs expands business incubator

Janssen Labs LLC is launching yet another incubator. The limited liability company, which facilitates collaborations between drugmaker Johnson & Johnson and smaller companies, announced that its latest venture is a 30,000-square-foot operation in South San Francisco.

The firm said in a statement that the new digs have enough room to accommodate 50 emerging companies whose employees will share close quarters with J&J innovation staff and should open by late June.

The location is part of a constellation of sites that includes San Diego and Boston as well as another San Francisco site.
