MEDICAL ADVERTISING HALL OF FAME members met with prospective future recruits at a breakfast roundtable that took place in April. The discussion featured a bit of advice from medical agency world veterans, addressing such topics as how to maintain life-work balance and breaking out of the industry's tendency to work in silos. Their recommendations: don't shoot for balance. Instead, create a work-life portfolio and tweak it every year, and meet all of the people who work on accounts, not just department colleagues.
