GSK buys Mevacor OTC rights

GlaxoSmithKline will buy the rights to market Merck's cholesterol-lowering drug Mevacor (lovastatin) over-the-counter (OTC) in the US, pending FDA approval. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
