Waterfront Media co-founder and board member Bob Nylen died Tuesday, Dec. 23, following a long bout with cancer. Nylen, 64, was one of the media industry's Johnny Appleseeds, having co-founded New England Monthly in 1984 and Beliefnet.com in 1999 before helping to launch Everyday Health parent Waterfront Media in 2002.
