Novartis’ Zausner named HBA Woman of the Year

Novartis’ Oncology’s Meryl Zausner has been named as The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s 2007 Woman of the Year. Zausner is VP and CFO at Novartis Oncology, of which she is a founding member. Novartis Oncology launched in 2000 and now boasts more than 4,000 employees and $6 billion in sales. Zausner’s boss, Novartis Oncology president and CEO David Epstein, was the HBA’s 2004 honorable mentor. Epstein called her “a truly unique and exceptional business leader. She is tough on business by caring and compassionate about people.”
