Ogilvy Healthworld has appointed Angela Rossetti to head its U.S. business.
Rossetti, who becomes president of the agency’s New York advertising unit, reports to chief executive Steve Girgenti.
Rossetti has a long agency career behind her, including stints at Sudler & Hennessey and Ketchum Healthcare, where she was chief executive and managing director.
Most recently, she worked as a consultant to biotechs, pharma startups and financial firms.
Last year, Ogilvy Healthworld parent WPP Group merged its Ogilvy healthcare business into Healthworld, formerly of Cordiant, which the holding company bought in late 2003.
The company has appointed regional presidents for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, but North and South American slots are, as yet, unfilled. Ogilvy Healthworld has also named operating heads for its business in Canada and the U.K., along with a director of consumer marketing and two regional heads of medical education.
