Camera and lens company Olympus announced Monday that it is providing doctors with a new perspective on endoscopies. The solution: a pill-sized camera patients can swallow for small-bowel capsule endoscopy procedures.

The Endocapsule 10 system has a 160-dgree field of vision, 12-hours of battery life and a tracking function that works as a GPS of sorts that shows physicians where the capsule is in the intestine.
