Palio+Ignite, part of inVentiv Health, announced the appointment of Kim Johnson as president. Johnson, previously a partner at NYC-based agency The CementBloc, supervised agency operations and handled clients like Vertex, GlaxoSmithKline and J&J.

Michael Griffith, EVP of inVentiv Health, stated, “Kim's results-driven approach to marketing and her vast experience makes her ideally suited to lead Palio+Ignite. Her knowledge across the product lifecycle and commitment to innovative technology will optimize commercial success for our clients' pharmaceutical brands.”

Palio merged with Ignite Health in January 2013. In November of last year, Palio's president at the time, Mike Myers, left the organization.

Johnson will lead the agency's three offices based out of New York City, Saratoga Springs, NY, and Irvine, CA.
