People moves: Allergan and Hospira

Hospira named Allergan president F. Michael Ball chief executive officer. Ball succeeds founding CEO Christopher Begley, who will become executive chairman at Hospira. Ball has served as president of Allergan since 2006, having joined the company in 1995. In his stead, Allergan named chairman and CEO David Pyott president and eliminated an organizational layer, creating direct reporting lines between Pyott and the company's commercial leaders.
