Amgen promoted CFO Robert Bradway to president and COO, effective May 11. Bradway will report to Kevin Sharer, chairman and CEO, and will be taking over responsibility for global commercial operations from George Morrow, who is retiring at the end of January. Morrow will work on the launch of Prolia in the meantime. Bradway will also head up manufacturing operations, strategy and corporate development, IT and global government affairs and compliance. Before joining Amgen in 2006 as VP operations strategy, Bradway was a managing director at Morgan Stanley in London.
