Bayer HealthCare promoted Timothy Hayes to lead global business development for its consumer care division effective July 1, adding to his previous role as SVP and region head for the business unit. In his new role, Hayes will oversee new business development for the OTC division's global brand portfolio and markets—identifying and analyzing new and emerging opportunities, such as acquisitions, in-licensing and Rx-to-OTC switches.

IMS Health named Adel Al-Saleh to the new position of SVP, sales and global account management. Al-Saleh had been president, Europe, Middle East and Africa for IMS. He continues to report to David Carlucci, IMS chairman and CEO, and will be based at the company's Connecticut headquarters.
